Hidalgo fest to host Iranian ‘Paradoxical Dream’

Iranian short flick ‘Paradoxical Dream’ has been selected to compete at the 9th edition of the Hidalgo International Film Festival (HIFF) in Mexico.

Directed by Mohammad-Ebrahim Khaki, the short film depicts the dream of a woman who suffers from depression.

The dream happens to the woman at the short interval between her inhale and exhale.

The short flick has previously participated in several film festivals, including the 2020 Waterford Film Festival in Ireland and the 2020 Edmonton Short Film Festival in Canada.

The HIFF is a place for national talented filmmakers to exhibit their works. It also hosts an international gathering that presents the best of contemporary films.

The festival provides an opportunity for filmmakers and the attendees to meet.

The 2020 edition of the event is scheduled for December 11-12.
